Rose City Burlesque was founded because of the immediate need for more
bumping beauties in the Portland area.

Burlesque 101 is the perfect class for the beginner. No matter your
shape, size or experience all are welcome. Burlesque 101 is a 6-week
course that will cover the history of burlesque, creation of a
persona, burlesque hair and makeup, costuming, bump and grind dance
movement, as well as a recital for a intimate live audience. Students
will be able to create their own routine from the wealth of knowledge
taught by veteran performers like founder Holly Dai, Sadie LaGuerre,
Meghan Mayhem, Tana the Tattooed Lady and Violetta Beretta.

Our next session of the Rose City School of Burlesque is almost here.
Rose City School of Burlesque is very excited to be offering a second
summer session. Our space is limited to 15 students. We have class
every Thursday from 6-8 at the Bossanova Ballroom located at E
Burnside and SE 7th in the middle of Portland. Classes are for six
weeks and will get you started in the wonderful world of burlesque.
Our first class is July 8th. Tuition is only 175 for the course with a
$50 non-refundable deposit included in the price. Payment plans are
available for those who request individually.
